I went and saw a killer Ratatat show at Washington University’s Gargoyle. They played all the Classics you would expect and more. The show was opened by 120 Days and Despot, I got there in time to see the last bit of 120 Days set and hear the quote of the night. In heavily Norwegian accented English the lead singer belts out “We are 120 Days … You are America”, I’m not sure what that means other than the obvious. Check out some visual media, my complete concert photoset can be found here. Also listen to Wildcat, the song from the below video (LISTEN).

I love the pipes across the ceiling, although I doubt that is what they are.
Yea that place reminds me of a high school cafeteria.
Um.. yeah, this venue is in a basement. It was very hot and sticky. And yes, those are pipes. ^_^
I saw this same bill tonight and was dissapointed. I love both of these bands albums but the show was lacking energy on stage and off. I kinda wish ratatat didnt play to a track…you could definately have live drums and at least one another guitar playing. It was weak.
I hear ya, I agree at the very least live drums would have been nice. At the show here I didn’t feel that the energy was low or it was dull in anyway. It’s sorry to hear.
