Here is some of the random spattering of music I have been listening to lately.
- Pterodactyl (LISTEN) - Something a bit noisy, if you like Parts and Labor you may be interested. Their self titled and first release debuted in earlier this year.
- The Tambourine Club (LISTEN) - My girlfriend calls it ‘bratty’ similar to but not in the same way as Vampire Weekend. You can also vote for them in NME’s Breaking Bands.
- Throw Me The Statue (LISTEN) - Their latest EP About to Walk is a delight.
- Bowerbirds (LISTEN) - Since seeing them with the Moutain Goats I have been hooked on Hymn For A Dark Horse.
