Islands and Pomegranates played Off Broadway Thursday evening. If you haven’t heard Pomegranates they will give you a pleasant notions of clean, New England, white boy rock in the vein of Vampire Weekend. They will also be playing at the Lemp Arts Center next month. Islands played a set of almost entirely new music with an encore split with a new song and a classic from Return to the Sea. Their new album will be out in a “couple months” according to front man Nick “Diamonds” Thorburn, stating that it is still at the manufacturing facility.
