The past few days the MusicSucks team has been in Chicago seeing Efterklang, which produced our pick for the best album of 2007. The show was great and I have to say that I really enjoyed Illinois smoking ban.

Ohmega Watts and Othello had in-store at Vintage Vinyl ahead of their show at the Pageant tonight with Galactic and Chali 2na. A few photos are available here.
Both Ohmega and Othello have new albums out and if you add Braille (who has a new album coming out in April) the three of them become Lightheaded.

De Novo Dahl, Foreign Islands and Banshee Lips played the Billiken Club last night. It was a good mix of synth-rock, electro-punk and disco-dance-rock. That’s a lot of hyphens. More photos can be found here.
